Paula Wiltse is a competitive masters runner and coach who believes the best years of running don’t have to be behind you.

After returning to the sport during a difficult time in her life, running became more than competition—it became a constant. That consistency, over time, led to high-level performances well into her 50s, including a sub-3-hour marathon at age 50.

Her experience has shaped a clear philosophy: performance doesn’t decline with age when training evolves with it. By focusing on strength, smart progression, and long-term consistency, runners can continue to improve, compete, and chase meaningful goals.

Through Unfinished Miles, Paula works with athletes who aren’t finished—who still want to get faster, stay strong, and see what they’re capable of.

Because the miles ahead still matter.

Performance doesn’t disappear with age, it just requires a different approach.
